Views - column aliases

Postby cdefelice » Wed Feb 08, 2012 7:02 pm

When SQL Delta creates scripts for views, it is not including the list of column aliases.

This is what is in the database:

CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW (MY_DATE, MY_NUM)
AS
SELECT SYSDATE, 1
FROM DUAL;

This is what SQL Delta will produce:
CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW
AS
SELECT SYSDATE, 1
FROM DUAL;

The list of column aliases are not always necessary, but if the view is written with column aliases then SQL Delta should include them in generated scripts.

Views column aliases

Unfortunately that does not work. The data is shifted by one column like what I showed in the picture.
